Product Notes Please note the following operating conditions before installing the Omnipass software update. Operating environment 1) One of the following operating systems is required to run this software: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP 2) One of the following FinrgerPrint Sensor drivers must be installed: AuthenTec AES2501 : Version 6.26.13.0 or later AuthenTec AES2501A : Version 6.28.12.0 or later ================================================================== 3. Installation/update procedure 1) Click [Start] --> [Run] 2) Type a full path to the location of SETUP.EXE and required parameters. Example: SETUP.EXE is located in C:\Omnipass directory. The command line "C:\Omnipass\Setup.exe" 3) Click [Next] on InstallShield wizard for Omnipass. 4) When Setup is completed,click [Finish] button for restart the computer. Note: To update the OmniPass software you should have Administrator provileges on the computer. ================================================================== 4. Installation check procedure Perform the following procedure to determine whether the installation was successful. 1) Click [Start] --> [Control Panel] --> [Add or Remove Program]. 2) Select the OmniPass. 3) Click on [Click Here for support information]. 4) Verify that the Omnipass version is correct. ================================================================== 5. Fixed Issues 1) Data can be lost if the encryption is canceled 2) Data can be lost after an user double clicks the encrypted file is if "Single click to open an item" is enabled in Folder Options 3) Error message appears when finger print enrollment is skipped in Password Wizard ================================================================== 6.
