This file pertains to the Supraexpress 56i Pro 2 PCI Series SUP 2320 and contains the most up-to-date drivers for Windows 95/98/NT 4.0. These drivers are not for use with other modems or operating systems.

These drivers are the most recent released for the Supraexpress 56i Pro 2 PCI, and 
include a self-installer for easy installation.

You should print this document for easy reference.  


Installation Process for Windows 95/98/NT:
-----------------
For those who have installed no drivers:

1. Power down the system and install the modem into an available PCI slot.  Boot up the system as 
normal.

2. Windows NT skip to step 3. Windows 9x will detect a PCI Serial Controller, PCI Card or PCI Communication Device.  Select “CANCEL” when prompted to install a driver, and allow Windows to finish loading as normal.

3. Label a blank formatted floppy disk, "Supraexpress 56i Pro 2 PCI Driver files."

4. Insert the disk into the floppy drive.

5. Download the file onto a floppy disk. In your browser, click on the file name, supraexpress56-2320_9x-nt_217.exe. Your browser should prompt as to where you would like save the file. You should select the floppy drive, "A:\" (without the quotes).

6. When the download is complete, you should disconnect from the internet and close all open 
programs.

7. Extract the files from the downloaded file. Click Start\Run\Browse. Locate the supraexpress56-2320_9x-nt_217.exe file on the floppy drive, "a:." Click OK and then OK again, or double-click the file icon.

8. A Self-Extractor window should appear. Click OK. This will then begin the installation. 

9. After the files have been installed click OK to the "success" window and then Close to exit 

10. When the program has finished it may restart Windows automatically.  Your modem is now 
installed.


Driver/Installation Verification(Windows 95/98/NT):

Windows NT: Test the modem in a terminal program such as Hyperterminal. Check for the modem's response to ATi3 look for:

Windows 95/98: To verify that the updated drivers have been installed, you should do the following:

1. Click Start/Settings/Control Panel.

2. Double-click on Modems and select the Diagnostics tab.

3. Highlight the COM port associated with your modem, and click the More Info button.  Next to 
one of the lines starting with ATi3, look for:

This indicates you have successfully upgraded your modem with the appropriate drivers, and that it is installed correctly in Windows.
