Overview

These are the display drivers for the Gateway Tablet PC M1300.


Identification

If you have a Gateway Tablet PC M1300 and are running Microsoft Windows XP, install these drivers.


Installation

1.  From the Start menu, tap Run.

2.  In the Run dialog box, enter the path: C:\Cabs\9522919\Setup.  Tap OK.

3.  In the Welcome dialog box, tap Next.

4.  In the License Agreement dialog box, tap Yes.

5.  In the InstallShield Wizard Complete dialog box, tap Finish to restart the computer.


Removal

1.  From the Start menu, tap Control Panel. 

2.  In Control Panel, tap Performance and Maintenance.

3.  In Performance and Maintenance, tap the System icon.

4.  In the System Properties dialog box, tap the Hardware tab, and then tap Device Manager.

5.  In Device Manager, double-tap Display Adapters, and then double-tap Intel 830M Graphics Controller-0.

6.  In the Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller Properties dialog box, tap the Driver tab, and then tap Uninstall.

7.  In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, tap OK.

8.  In the System Settings Change dialog box, tap Yes to restart the computer.


Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers.


Reason for Update

This is the initial release of the drivers.
