Overview

These are the audio drivers for the Gateway M500.


Identification

If you have a Gateway M500 and are running Windows XP, install these drivers.


Installation

1.  From the Start menu, click Run.

2.  In the Run dialog box, type: C:\CABS\9523099\setup.  Click OK.

3.  In the Welcome dialog box, click Next.

4.  In the Completed dialog box, click Finish.


Removal

1.  From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 

2.  In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.

3.  In Add or Remove Programs, click the sigmaTel AC97 Audio drivers, and then click Change/Remove.

4.  In the Complete dialog box, click Finish to restart the computer.


Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers.
