Identification If you have a Solo 1200 portable computer and are running Windows Me, install these drivers. Installation 1. Download and extract the files to your hard disk drive. The default extraction location is C:\cabs\7511086. 2. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Click View all Control Panel Options. 3. In Control Panel, double-click the System icon. 4. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Device Manager tab. 5. On the Device Manager tab, click the plus sign (+) next to Other Devices. 6. Under Other Devices, double-click PCI Multimedia Audio Device. 7. In the PCI Multimedia Audio Device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver. 8. In the Welcome to Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, click Next. 9. In the next Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, select Specify the location of the driver (advanced), and then click Next. 10. In the next Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, select Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now (Recommended), and then select the Specify a Location check box. Clear any other check boxes. 11. In the text box, type: C:\cabs\7511086. Press the ENTER key. 12. Windows Me locates the AC-Link Audio driver. Click Next. 13. When the Update Driver wizard completes the installation of the audio driver, click Finish. 14. The AC-Link Audio driver is installed. Click Close. Removal 1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, select AC-Link Audio, and then click Add/Remove. 4. Close Control Panel. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers.
