Overview

These are the display drivers for the Solo 3450 running Windows 98SE.


Identification

If you are running Windows 98SE on a Solo 3450, you must install these drivers.


Installation

1.  Browse to the folder where the drivers were extracted, and then double-click the Setup.exe file.  The default file location is C:\cabs\7510645.

2.  In the Welcome dialog box, click Next.

3.  In the Start Copying Files dialog box, click Next.

4.  In the Setup Complete dialog box, click Finish to restart the computer.

5.  After restarting, from the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

6.  In Control Panel, double-click the Display icon.

7.  In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Setting tab, and then verify that the color is set to High Color (16-bit) and that the screen area is set to 1,024 x 768. 


Removal

1.  From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2.  In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3.  In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, select S3 Inc. Savage/IX Display Driver, and then click Add/Remove.

4.  In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK.

5.  Close Control Panel. 


Troubleshooting.

If you have difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers.
