Identification If you have the Boston Acoustic USB speakers (Part 7001736) you will see a listing in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs called Boston USB Audio System. Installation Note: Before installing the new driver, remove the old Boston USB speaker driver by following the steps in the Removal section of this document. 1. Locate and double-click file 7507807.exe 2. In the Winzip self-extractor dialog box, click Unzip. 3. Locate the C:\cabs\7507807 folder and double-click the Setup.exe file. 4. In the Welcome dialog box, click Next. 5. After the drivers install, in the Setup Complete dialog box, select Yes, and then click Finish. 6. The computer will restart and finish installing the speakers. 7. After restarting, in each Add New Hardware dialog box that appears, click Next. 8. In the last Add New Hardware dialog box, click Finish. 9. Connect the speakers to the computer and test the speakers for sound. Removal 1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. If you do not see this icon, click View All Control Panel options. 3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, select Boston USB Audio System, and then click the Add/Remove button. 4. After removal is complete, close Control Panel. 5. Unplug the Boston USB speakers from the computer. 6. Restart the computer.
