Overview

These are the updated display drivers for the Solo 3300 running Windows 2000.


Identification

If you have a Solo 3300 and are running Windows 2000, you need to load these drivers.


Installation

1.  Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.  In Control Panel, double-click the System icon.

2.  In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab.  On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.

3.  In the Device Manager window, click the plus sign (+) next to Display Adapters, and then double-click Neo Magic Magic Graph 256AV Driver.

4.  In the Neo Magic Magic Graph 256AV Driver Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab.  On the Driver tab, click Update Driver.

5.  In the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, click Next.

6.  Verify that Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended) is selected, and then click Next.

7.  Clear the Floppy disk drives and CD-ROM drives check boxes, and then select the Specify a location check box.  Click Next.

8.  Type the path of the location where you downloaded and extracted the driver files.  The default path is C:\cabs\7508218.  Click OK.

9.  Windows finds the driver.  Click Next.

10.  In the Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box, click Finish.  In the Neo Magic Magic Graph 256AV Properties dialog box, click Close.

11.  In the Systems Settings Change dialog box, click Yes to restart your computer.

12.  Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.  In Control Panel, double-click the Display icon.  In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.  On the Settings tab, in the Colors box, click High Color (16 bit).  In the Screen area box, move the slider to 800 by 600 pixels.

13.  In the Display Properties dialog box, click OK to apply your new settings.

14.  In the Monitor Settings dialog box, click Yes to keep the settings.  

Note:  You have 15 seconds to click Yes before Windows switches back to your original settings.


Reason for Update

These drivers correct tech support issue 267513600, which is video distortion at Windows 2000 startup.
