PV 100T DAT72 Devuce Driver installation instructions for Windows. Installing the Device Drivers for Windows 2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Download and run the file DAT72DRV.exe. The file will extract its contents to a temporary directory. The default directory is x:\Dell\Drivers\R71630\Windows\ where x:\ is the system root. 2. Go to the desktop. Right click on My Computer and select Manage. The Computer Management folder appears. Select Device Manager. 3. Find the SEAGATE DAT72-XXX SCSI Sequential Device tape drive in the device manager. 4. Right click the SEAGATE DAT72-XXX SCSI Sequential Device tape drive and select Properties from the menu. 5. In the new window select the Driver tab. 6. Click the Update Driver button, this will start an installation wizard. 7. Click next to continue. 8. Select the option "Display a list of known drivers..." and click next. 9. Click Have Disk. 10. Enter the location of the extracted drivers (The default is x:\Dell\Drivers\R71630\Windows\). 11. Follow the rest of the instructions in the wizard to finish installation.
