When a SEP device is detected during Netware installation without a device driver being loaded, you may see an error message complaining no information can be obtained for the device. During Netware installation, after loading the Adaptec SCSI HAM drivers, switch to Netware console, type "load dellsep.cdm" and hit to load the driver for SEP device. Then proceed with the rest of Netware installation. 3. A new version of nwaspi.cdm driver (v3.20) is included in the Netware directory to fix the following issues: . Multi-processor support; . unloading nwaspi.cdm may causes server abend on nwpa.nlm; and . Adaptec CI/O can not detect device with SCSI id greater than 7. To load this nwaspi.cdm, add a line "load nwaspi.cdm" in the Netware startup.ncf file. Notes: This nwaspi.cdm requires support pack 8a on Netware 4.2 and support pack 4a on Netware 5.0.
