1.  SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION

1.1 About this software
    This Driver supports the following network interface cards:
     * Compaq WL110 PC Card
     * Compaq WL210 PCI Card

1.2 Files Installed
    The following files will be installed in the Windows designated
    directory:

    NDIS 5 Miniport driver for Windows XP          version 7.42
        WCLUC48.EXE
        WALUC48.DLL
        WLCOM48.PCK
        WLLUC48.INF
        WLLUC48.SYS

2.  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Operating System
    This Driver is for the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System.

3.  NEW IN THIS RELEASE

3.1 version 7.42  

    The Client Manager and Control Panel Applet have been improved
    with respect to links and texts in Japanese help files.
 
    General installation problems have been resolved.

4.1. To install this product on a PC running the Windows XP 
     operating system, please refer to the card 'COMPAQ - Setup of 
     the WL110, WL210 or WL215 Client Adapters on Windows XP 
     Computers.' For IEEE 802.1x operation, consult with your 
     network administrator.

    Detailed installation and troubleshooting instructions
    are available in the on-line User's Guide located on 
    the CD-ROM that was included with your product.  To 
    view this information, insert the Wireless LAN software
    CD-ROM, select Start->Run, type D:\Run_CD.exe 
    (where D:\is the letter to your CD-ROM drive) and click
    on OK.
