	**	USB2.0 Driver Installation Guide	**

1) System Requirement

   1. Windows XP only (Without any Service Pack).
   2. Intel ICH4 chipset.

   IMPORTMENT NOTE: 
   It's NO NEED to install this driver if you are running Windows XP
   Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later versions.
   Windows XP Service Pack 1 (or later versions) supports USB2.0 already.


2) Installation

   1. Install USB2.0 Patch
   ======================================================================
   -Select the patch file name from the [File List] below. 
    (Depend on your Windows XP default language).
 
   -Double-click the selected file under the directory 
    <CD_ROOT:\USB\USB20\Intel\WinXP\Patch>. 
    (CD_ROOT:\ is the root of your Driver CD)

   -Example: For English Windows XP, double-click the patch file 
    <CD_ROOT:\USB\USB20\Intel\WinXP\Patch\Q312370_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU.exe>
    (CD_ROOT:\ is the root of your Driver CD)

   -If your language is not shown on the above list, please just use 
    the English version, Q312370_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU.exe.

   -After USB2.0 Patch is installed completely, the system will prompt 
    for a reboot. Check [Do not restart now], then click [Finish]. 
    You don't have to reboot the system at this time. 


   2. Install USB2.0 Driver
   ======================================================================
   -Go to Windows [Start]->[Control Panel], select [Switch to Classic View]. 
    A [System] icon appears. 

   -Double-click [System] icon, select [Hardware]->[Device Manager], choose 
    "Universal Series Bus Controllers" from the device list, click 
    [Reinstall Driver].
 
   -Check "Install from a list or specific location", then specify the file 
    path where the driver is, e.g. <CD_ROOT:\USB\USB20\Intel\WinXP\>
    Click [Next], then click [Finish]. 
    (CD_ROOT:\ is the root of your Driver CD)

   -Reboot the system.
